Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission apparatus capable of improving subjective picture quality by reducing flickering of a displayed image on a reception side which accompanies the change in image transfer rate. SOLUTION: A communication capacity is possible to become insufficient if a high image transfer rate is kept when a radio transfer rate is lowered to follow degradation in radio communication quality, resulting in image error. In that case, a transmission control part 163 of a radio transmission part 16 lowers the image transfer rate without delay. When the radio communication quality improves, it raises the image transfer rate when a period in which the radio transfer rate is higher than the image transfer rate continues for a certain period.
