Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel electrode material, together with its manufacturing method, for forming a fuel electrode of high porosity having high output characteristic and durability. SOLUTION: A fuel electrode material for a solid oxide fuel cell contains (A) nickel oxide whose half value width is less than 0.45° at a (001) plane of space group Fm3m which is available by a powder X-ray diffraction method, with a coefficient of linear contraction at 30-1,300°C in thermal mechanical analysis (TMA) of 10% or less, (B) stabilized zirconia, and (C) nickel compound whose coefficient of linear contraction at 30-1,300°C in TMA of 20% or more, and the content of the component (C) is 10-40 wt.%, converted into oxide.
