Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal gasket made of a sheet material work-strengthened by cold rolling or a combination of cold rolling with precipitation hardening. SOLUTION: The metal gasket includes a gasket sheet having at least one embossed sealing bead made from an alloy. The alloy includes, by weight, greater than 18% nickel, greater than 14% Cr and 0.1-10% of at least one element selected from a group consisting of Mo, Ti, V, Al, Co, Nb, Ta and Cu, with the rest being substantially Fe and unavoidable impurities, wherein the gasket sheet has a deformed microstructure. The deformed microstructure is a cold-rolled microstructure deformed to the extent of being different depending on the rate of cold thickness reduction, and further includes a deformed and precipitation-hardened microstructure having a hardness greater than the hardness of the deformed microstructure.
