Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyimide precursor capable of producing the corresponding polyimide with high optical transparency, and to provide the polyimide with high optical transparency. SOLUTION: The polyimide precursor is obtained by polycondensation reaction between an aromatic tetracarboxylic acid and diamine component(s) including p-xylylenediamine.
