CONVEYOR BELT HAVING VARIOUS FLEXIBILITY AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveyor belt having various flexibility in a cross direction of the belt, and to provide a method of assembling the same. SOLUTION: This conveyor belt 10 having a width, a length and a longitudinal center line includes: a first longitudinal edge 32; a second longitudinal edge 34 at a side opposite to the first longitudinal edge; and a load bearing region 50 evenly arranged around the longitudinal center line of the belt over the whole length of the belt 10. The conveyor belt 10 includes: a first flexible region 40 arranged between the first longitudinal edge 32 and the load bearing region 50; and a second flexible region 42 arranged between the second longitudinal edge 34 and the load bearing region 50. Furthermore, the conveyor belt 10 includes at least one fabric layer 60, and the fabric layer 60 has various density in the cross direction. The density of the fabric layer 60 in the first and the second longitudinal edges 32 and 34 and the density of the load bearing region 50 are higher than the density of the fabric layer 60 in the first and the second flexible regions 41 and 43.
