METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING TETRAHEDRON PACKAGE AND APPARATUS THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a tetrahedron bag package by a simple configuration. SOLUTION: Bags 12 accommodating articles 10 are placed in an upward position with their bag mouths 12a oriented in the direction of a side of a conveyor, and they are intermittently conveyed by the conveyor. Using opening pawls 22, 22 the mouth 12a of each bag 12 stopped in a sealing position is vertically opened and made flat. While the bag mouth 12a held flat by sandwiching bodies 36 is sandwiched together with the opening pawls 22, 22 and a gas supply nozzle, inactive gas is filled into the bag from an air supply nozzle. Consequently, after the opening pawls 22, 22 are retracted out of the bag mouth 12a together with the air supply nozzle, the bag portions 12a outside the sandwiching positions of the sandwiching bodies 36, 36 are sandwiched by sealing bars 34, 34, thereby sealing the bag mouth 12a. A sealing means 26 is moved away from the conveyor so as to permit the thus obtained package 28 to be conveyed downstream by the conveyor. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
