STRUCTURE FOR PREVENTING FLOTATION OF CHAIN IN SLUDGE SCRAPER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for preventing the flotation of the chain in a sludge scraper capable of preventing the flotation of the chain in the meshing part with a sprocket by a simple structure. SOLUTION: The sludge scraper for moving the flight plates 3 attached to the chain 2 so as to circulate them to scrape up the sludge of a sedimentation basin is equipped with the guide pins 11 composed of the extension parts of the connection pins of the chain 2 and provided so as to protrude from the side of the chain 2 and guide members 13 for guiding the guide pins 11 from the outside in the diametric direction of a follower sprocket 4B in the meshing part of the chain 2 and the follower sprocket 4B. Each of the guide members 13 has the support plate part 13A supported by the brackets 21 for the guide members and formed along the side of the follower sprocket 4B and the guide plate part 13B formed so as to rise from the support plate part 13A toward the chain 2.
