HIGH FREQUENCY KNIFE FOR ENDOSCOPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-frequency knife for an endoscope which is capable of performing pre-cutting of a mucous membrane surface by high-frequency cauterization and a mucous membrane incision procedure or the like by one treatment instrument smoothly and safely without a risk of boring by required and sufficient incision depths different between the pre-cutting and the mucous membrane incision treatment. SOLUTION: At the distal end part of a flexible sheath 1, a thin and long incision electrode 3 is projected to the front and disposed so as to be freely moved forward and backward in the cross direction in a fixed range, and an electrically insulating chip 4 disposed in the state of surrounding the outer periphery of the incision electrode 3 is provided so as to be freely moved forward and backward in the cross direction along the incision electrode 3 in an area in the tip side half part of the incision electrode 3. The state that the electrically insulating chip 4 is moved to the distal end side of the incision electrode 3 and the incision electrode 3 is moved to the most distal end position of a movable range and the state that the electrically insulating chip 4 is moved to the intermediate position of the incision electrode 3 and the incision electrode 3 is moved to the rearmost end position of the movable range can be switched.
