CONTENT DISTRIBUTION METHOD AND TERMINAL DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for achieving an out-of-range reception prevention in a content distribution system incapable of setting the concept of a broadcasting area such as the Internet; and to provide a terminal device. SOLUTION: At least one piece of reproduction information (e.g., content acquisition URI or decryption key information) required for reproducing contents on the Internet is broadcast from a broadcasting station 300 while being multiplexed on radiowave broadcasting. The terminal device 100 presents a viewable program to a user based on a content list and when a selection/reproduction operation of contents is performed, a TS packet included in a radiowave broadcasting channel corresponding to a frequency, TS-ID and PID included in metadata of the contents is extracted, thereby acquiring the content acquisition URI or the decryption key information.
