COIL COMPONENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil component suppressed in generation of disconnection or the like regardless of application of resin coating. SOLUTION: In the coil component 1, a drum core 2 has: a wound core part 3 on which a first lead wire 8 and a second lead wire 9 are wound; and a first brim part 4 and a second brim part 5 provided with a first electrode 8 and a second electrode 9 which are connected with axial both ends of the wound core part 3 and to which the both ends of the first lead wire 8 and the second lead wire 9 are respectively linked, wherein an upper surface 4A and an upper surface 5A of the first brim part 4 and the second brim part 5 to which the first lead wire 8 and the second lead wire 9 are linked are formed flush with a coil-wound upper surface 31 of the wound core part 3.
