Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of changing an illuminating light radiation direction, and including a light emitting part which is easily housed. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes: a light emitting part that generates illuminating light; a supporting part that supports the light emitting part so as to be turnable; a body that supports the supporting part so as to be turnable; and a drawing-in part that turns the light emitting part toward housing posture showing the posture when being housed in the body, when the supporting part turns to come close to the body. In the imaging apparatus, the drawing-in part may turn the light emitting part to the housing posture before the supporting part turns to a position closest to the body. Also, in the imaging apparatus, the drawing-in part may have: an energizing part that energizes the light emitting part to turn toward the housing posture; a locking part that is engaged with the light emitting part to maintain the posture of the light emitting part against energizing of the energizing part; and an opening part that releases engagement of the locking part with respect to the light emitting part, when the supporting part turns to come close to the body.
