Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spiral gasket which demonstrates satisfactory sealing performance even in a long time use in a zone of temperature over 450°C. SOLUTION: The spiral gasket 10 is made by overlapping and winding a metal hoop material 1 having a nearly V-shaped cross section and an expanded graphite tape 2 and includes a gasket body X in which the both side surface are pressure-receiving surfaces 5 which contact seal surfaces.
