CONNECTING DEVICE FOR VEHICLE SEAT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting device for a vehicle seat capable of easily removing and taking a wedge member for locking both of internal gear and external gear of a reclining device by pushing them into a clearance formed therebetween from/out of the clearance. SOLUTION: In this connecting device for a vehicle seat, a ring member 30 is arranged in the clearance Sp between a large hole 22 of the external gear 21 and a cylindrical part 12 of the internal gear 11, the wedge members 40A, 40B are arranged in the clearance between the ring member 30 and the cylindrical part 12, the ring member 30 has thick-walled parts 32A, 32B forming a clearance which becomes narrow gradually between the cylindrical part 12 and it in its inner peripheral part, and parts on a thin tip side of both of the wedge members 40A, 40B are pushed into a clearance side where these wedge members 40A, 40B become narrow by energizing the parts to press both of the gears against each other and lock them. When a pushing-moving member 60 is turned, either of the wedge members 40A (40B) is pushed and turned, and the ring member 30 is also pushed and turned in the same direction to extend size of a clearance between the ring member 30 and the wedge member 40B (40A) on the other side.
