LIQUID JETTING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jetting apparatus to improve the discharging properties of air bubbles mixed in a liquid flow path. SOLUTION: A printer includes: a recording head having a piezoelectric vibrator for generating pressure fluctuation to a series of a liquid flow path including a pressure chamber and a nozzle opening and ink in the pressure chamber, and delivering ink drops from the nozzle opening by driving the piezoelectric vibrator; a driving signal generating circuit generating a driving signal including a driving pulse for driving the piezoelectric vibrator; a controlling unit for feeding the driving pulse in the driving signal to the piezoelectric vibrator; and a capping mechanism for sealing a nozzle forming face of the recording head. The driving pulse is set so that the pressure fluctuation generated in the ink in the pressure chamber can be elevated more than the delivery driving pulse for delivering the ink drops, and includes a driving pulse DP for removing air bubbles to remove the air bubbles in the liquid flow path. The capping mechanism seals a nozzle opening of the recording head when driving the piezoelectric vibrator is performed by the driving pulse DP for removing the air bubbles.
