IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such the problem that a concealing effect cannot be obtained and visual recognition is made possible when dedicated combinations of publications for learning, color pens/markers and color sheets on the market are not used, since the conventional publications for learning, color pens/markers and color sheets on the market have to be exclusively combined in order to take the concealing effect. SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: printing means (50 and 502) which print a test sheet (400) having a color patch disposed thereon; reading means (30 and 501) which read an image of the test sheet in a state that a color sheet (900) transmitting visible light at a specific wavelength region is superposed on a side where the color patch of the test sheet is disposed; a determination means which determines whether a color or density of the color patch on the first test sheet read by the reading means is a color or density that a user desires; and an arithmetic means which calculates mixing amounts of ink or toner color materials for a color or density for printing the image.
