Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hanger label used as a container suspension device having a large margin of safety even when there is a damage. SOLUTION: The zone of weakening, which is designed as a slit 6a, is bordered by foil material 7 on both sides across the direction of loading, which is indicated by the arrows F. Tearing 8 which progresses from the edge because of microscopic damage comes to a standstill at the slit 6a at the latest, peak stress is reduced, and the locally increased stresses are dissipated into elements of the foil material 7 which are under less stress. Other embodiments include a locally interrupted adhesive layer for separation of an upper foil layer from a lower foil layer, these two foil layers being otherwise glued together. The adhesive-free recesses here constitute zones of weakening. This therefore prevents tears from spreading from one layer to the next. Furthermore, the propagation of tearing is counteracted due to the dissipation of stresses when a tear that forms in one foil layer reaches the layer of weakening. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
