Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass composition where the risk of causing such problems as gelation and the like does not exist even when being adopted as the component of an aqueous dispersion and which is suitable for a sintering auxiliary agent and to aim the reduction of environmental load while suppressing the fall of workability in a method for producing a dielectric. SOLUTION: The glass composition has a compositional ratio by mass% in terms of oxide: 30-60% SiO2; 3-20% one or both of ZrO2and TiO2; 0-20% B2O3; 0-15% Al2O3; 0-15% ZnO; 0-25% one or more of MgO, CaO, SrO and BaO; 0-20% one or more of Li2O, Na2O and K2O; and 40% or less total of B2O3, MgO, CaO, SrO, BaO, Li2O, Na2O and K2O.
