AIR CONDITIONER FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for a vehicle capable of suppressing the generation of an odor when starting the air-conditioning and the propagation of bacteria by surely drying an evaporator 7 for a short time during the parking of the vehicle. SOLUTION: The air conditioner 100 includes the evaporator 7 for cooling in which a medium for heat exchange flows in an air-conditioning case 10. The air conditioner includes an inside/outside air switching means 13 at an upstream side of the evaporator 7 to switch an inside air circulation mode for taking in air in the vehicle and circulating the air and an outside air introduction mode for introducing air outside the vehicle. The inside/outside air switching means 13 is set to at least the inside air circulation mode during the parking of the vehicle, and the evaporator 7 is dried without making a coolant flow to the evaporator 7. An air blower 14 is provided in the air conditioning case 10 for executing drying control to blow air to the evaporator 7. Step S46 and S47, etc. for forming an estimation means to stop the air blower 14 by estimating that the odor of the evaporator 7 is substantially eliminated are provided. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
