Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer receiving sheet of a low cost which is suitable for dye thermal transfer printers, and has a high printing concentration and a favorable image uniformity. SOLUTION: In the thermal transfer receiving sheet, an undercoating layer containing a hollow particle and an image receiving layer are laminated in order an at least on one surface of a sheet-like supporting body, wherein the undercoating layer contains a polyvinyl alcohol of which the saponification degree is 30% or higher and less than 65%. Preferably, the cloud point of the 40% solution of the polyvinyl alcohol is 40°C or higher. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
