IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability in handling a document, from which images have been read, and a recording medium on which images have been recorded. SOLUTION: A document housing part 16, a document ejecting part 32, a recording medium housing part 50 and a recording medium ejecting part 56 are collected at a document side placed in a transparent member 40 viewed from an image reading part 20, namely, above the image reading part 20. Thus, all the jobs for placing a document on the transparent member 40, housing the document in the document housing part 16, taking out the document from the document ejecting part 32, housing a recording medium P in the recording medium housing part 50 and taking out the recording medium P from the recording medium ejecting part 56 are performed above the image reading part 20.
