OPINION CLASSIFICATION DEVICE AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine whether a sentence belongs to a predetermined sentence category or not on the basis of not only surficial statistical features of expression but also meaning. SOLUTION: The opinion classification device includes: a predicate detection part which detects an opinionated predicate from parse tree data and adds opinionated predicate information including a predicate category of the detected opinionated predicate, to parse tree data; a functional expression detection part which detects a functional expression of input sentence data on the basis of input sentence data subjected to morphological analysis processing and adds functional expression information including a functional expression type showing its type, to the parse tree data; and a determination part which reads in the parse tree data having the opinionated predicate information and the functional expression information added thereto and uses features of the parse tree data to determined whether the parse tree data corresponds to a predetermined sentence category or not.
