DISPLAY CONTROLLER FOR ELEVATOR SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily regulate the brightness of a display installed in a hall on each floor, using a hall call button common among respective elevators, without interrupting operation service. SOLUTION: An elevator controller 16a or 16b deletes the elevator switched to a brightness regulation mode from an object of group management, regulates the brightness of a liquid crystal display 13a or 13b corresponding to the elevator, by a specified operation of the hall call button 14 common among the respective elevators, and issues an indication to other elevators not to receive a signal from the hall call button 14. Further, a hall call is determined to be registered when the hall call button 14 is operated as usual under brightness regulation, and the hall call is allocated to other elevators except the elevator under the brightness regulation.
