Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator device and a derailment preventive device, which prevent derailment, without requiring a space in the vicinity of a neck of a guide rail. SOLUTION: This elevator device includes a hoistway, the guide rail erected in the hoistway, a car or a weight for liftably moving in the hoistway, and a guide means arranged in the car or the weight and guiding the lifting movement of the car and the weight along the guide rail. The guide means has a constitution provided with the derailment preventive device having a magnet attracted to the guide rail in an earthquake and integrating the guide rail and the car or a counterweight by attraction of the magnet in the earthquake.
