PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a simple mechanism for correctly holding a movable guide member in a reference position in a closed state of a cover member. SOLUTION: This image forming device includes the movable guide member (80) having flexibility in the width direction of a passage (301) and movably supported in the vertical direction in a state of extending a shoe guide part (82) to the passage (301), two legs (83) for holding the movable guide member (80) in the reference position while being placed in a fixing part at the lower part of right-left end outside positions of the passage (301) in the movable guide member (80), a plurality of projections (84) arranged projecting upward in a position separated by a predetermined distance to the inside from the right-left ends of the passage (301) in the movable guide member (80), and a regulating part (91) arranged inside a cover (5) and in close vicinity from above to the plurality of projections (84) in the closed state of the cover (5) when the movable guide member (80) exists at the reference position.
