LID MADE OF SYNTHETIC RESIN AND CONTAINER CONSTITUTED BY THIS LID AND CONTAINER BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid made of a synthetic resin in which in order to suppress excessive displacement of extending pieces (34) of a lid flange (32) outward in the radial direction as much as possible when the lid (4) is separated from the opening neck part (2) of a container body, and to avoid that the extending pieces of the lid flange are partly separated, the number of the extending pieces is made relatively small, and even when the circumferential length of the extending end part (44) being relatively wide width is made relatively long, the locking strength of the extending end part in the extending piece of the lid flange to means (12) to be locked of the opening neck part flange (10) can be made to be an appropriate value, and to provide the container formed of a combination of such the lid as this and the container body. SOLUTION: In the lid flange, at least one fused projecting part (45) is formed on the lower surface of the extending end part (44) with a larger width than the widths of a first circumferentially extending part (38) and a second circumferentially extending part (42), and not the whole lower surface of the extending end part but only the fused projecting part is locked to the means to be locked of the opening neck part flange.
