Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print head discharge operation system in a web printing system capable of preventing misregistration by improving the calculation accuracy of a web velocity. SOLUTION: The discharge operation system of the print head in the web printing system includes: a first roller; a first encoder for generating a signal corresponding to an angular velocity of the first roller; a first temperature sensor for generating a signal corresponding to a first roller temperature; a first print head; and a controller. In the discharge operation system, the controller is configured so as to recognize a change in the length of a first roller diameter to calculate the web velocity of a web moving through a printing zone based on the change in length and also generate a discharge signal for discharging ink on the web in a position corresponding to the calculated web velocity.
