HORIZONTAL FLAT-FOLD FILTERING FACE-PIECE RESPIRATOR HAVING INDICIA OF SYMMETRY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal flat-fold filtering face-piece respirator which reduces the possibility that the wearer will improperly bend the nose clip. SOLUTION: The horizontal flat-fold, filtering, face-piece respirator 10 comprises: a harness 14; a mask body 12 having a front surface, a first perimeter 24a, and a longitudinal axis. The nose clip 30 is secured to the mask body 12 centrally and adjacent to the first perimeter 24a of the mask body 12. An indicia 32 is visible on the front surface of the mask body 12 adjacent to the nose clip 30 to emphasize symmetry of the nose clip. Using such an indicia visible on the front surface of the mask body can allow a user to identify an area where the wearer bends the nose clip for preparation of the nose clip to wear.
