MICROCAPSULE ENCLOSING COMPONENT OF PLANT OF LABIATAE FOR OYSTER, AND METHOD FOR DECREASING NOROVIRUS IN OYSTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for decreasing norovirus in oysters, capable of being simply performed by using microcapsules enclosing a plant of Labiatae and having a particle diameter easily being taken by the oysters. SOLUTION: The microcapsules enclosing the component of plant of Labiatae used for decreasing the norovirus in the oysters is provided by building-in the component of leaves of an oregano or a perilla and having a >2 and 2 μm particle diameter. The method for decreasing the norovirus of the oysters includes putting sea water into a vessel, then putting washed oysters in the sea water for immersing, leaving them for one night, fasting under the condition of stopping water supply but air-ventilating, then taking out the fasted oysters from the sea water, drying and then putting the oysters after drying into the sea water separately suspending the microcapsules enclosing the oregano component, or putting the dried oysters into the sea water and then putting-in the microcapsules enclosing the component of plant of Labiatae and dispersing.
