DC MOTOR MANAGEMENT DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a device for managing the life of a DC motor having a brush. SOLUTION: During operation of the DC motor, the number of revolutions of the DC motor M is acquired by a rotation number acquisition means 25, and current values supplied to the DC motor are acquired by a current value acquisition means 26, at preset intervals. By an abrasion evaluation means 27, a multiplication value X is calculated by multiplying the acquired number of revolutions by a current value, an abrasion evaluation value K is acquired from this multiplication value X, and the acquired evaluation value K is added to calculate an integration value Y. A replacement timing estimation means 28 calculates distance information on which a vehicle can travel, from the integration value Y, an initial life value, and the traveling distance information.
