Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a charging device which has higher generality, while ensuring its essential convenience, relating to a charging device using a connector of USB standard. SOLUTION: The charging device includes an AC adaptor part and a secondary battery charging section CU which have casings independent of each other. The AC adaptor part includes a USB receptacle which outputs a DC voltage, and the secondary battery charging section CU includes a USB plug 12 and a cable 13. The casing 1 of the secondary battery charging section CU includes a holder which holds the USB plug 12 in such a posture that an electrode 12b projects from the casing 1.
