IMAGE PROCESSING SYSTEM, IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, PROGRAM, AND RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To level a processing amount on a service providing side using priority of image processing in image data. SOLUTION: In an image processing system, an image forming apparatus is equipped with: an image data acquisition means 101 for reading an image to acquire image data; a selection means for receiving the selection of workflow to perform one or more processes on image data; a setting means 103 for setting priority indicative of whether or not image data requires immediate processing; a distribution means 104 for distributing image data in accordance with the selected workflow on the basis of the acquired image data; and a request means which adds the priority to image data and makes a processing request of processing to an image processing device in the case where processing included in the workflow can not be processed. The image processing device is equipped with an image processing means 302 for preferentially performing processing from the processing of which the priority indicates the necessity of the immediate processing, when the processing request is acquired.
