SOLUTION: The image pickup device is provided with an imaging element which photographs the photographed object, and outputs a video signal, a recognition unit which recognizes the specified photographed object which is photographed from the video signal, and a display unit which carries out display for showing that the photographed object is recognized according to the recognition result of the recognition unit. There are a plurality of the specified photographed objects, and the display unit is composed to display the recognition corresponding to a plurality of the respective photographed objects.
