SECONDARY BATTERY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery in which a safety problem of a high-capacity electrode assembly is solved, the number of components and a circuit device to connect cells are reduced, and cell swelling is prevented. SOLUTION: The secondary battery includes a first current collector, a plurality of electrode assemblies which are mutually electrically connected through the first current collector and are arranged in parallel, and a can which is formed so as to house the first current collector and the plurality of electrode assemblies. Each of the electrode assemblies has two mutually opposed end parts and an outside part formed between the two end parts, and the first current collector is electrically connected to one end part out of the two end parts of the electrode assembly.
