ORGANIC EL DISPLAY DEVICE AND METHOD OF DRIVING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an electronic apparatus from being erroneously operated by the noise emitted from an organic EL display device when the electronic apparatus, which performs communication by using the radio wave of a predetermined frequency, is used in the surrounding where the organic EL display device is operated. SOLUTION: In the organic EL display device 10 of a simple matrix system having a reset period for discharging electric charges charged in parasitic capacitances C1,1to C4,4formed in a plurality of organic EL elements E1,1to E4,4during a scan period between a scan period for light-emitting the element selected from the plurality of organic EL elements E1,1to E4,4and the next scan period, a drive part 11 light-emits the plurality of organic EL elements E1,1to E4,4by using a reset period when the reciprocal of the reset period becomes the same as the predetermined frequency of a radio wave transmitted and received by the electronic apparatus such as an electronic key system or the like positioned at the surrounding of the drive part 11.
