SOLUTION: The mechanism for adjusting the tilt of the automotive vehicle seat includes a first flange (10) obtained from a shaped metallic element, and a second flange (20) having a central part (59) and a peripheral part (22). The internal face (52) of the first flange is opposite to the outer face (63) of the second flange to guide a relative rotational movement of the first flange and the second flange.
