METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING FIBER-REINFORCED COMPOSITE MATERIAL MOLDED PRODUCT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a surface defect-free fiber-reinforced composite material molded product with good appearance by preventing occurrence of a pinhole and fiber meandering. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing fiber-reinforced composite material molded product, the fiber-reinforced composite material molded product is produced by heating and pressing a sheet material, which is prepared by impregnating a reinforced-fiber with a thermosetting resin, in the space formed by upper and lower dies. In this process, the sheet material is arranged to the die for molding one surface of the molded product so that it occupies 80-100% of the one-side surface area of the molded product. In the upper and lower dies used in this method, a distance (t) between the upper and lower dies is gradually increased to 1.2×(t0) towards the edge of the dies from a minimum value (t0) in the part where the upper and lower dies are closest to each other.
