Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple method for uniformly pulverizing an extract obtained by extraction from a plant containing an active ingredient using an organic solvent. SOLUTION: The method for producing plant extract powder includes extracting an active ingredient from a plant containing an active ingredient with a solvent, adding gum arabic to the extract, concentrating the mixture and then spray-drying the concentrate. In the production method, a uniform dispersion is produced in the process for concentrating the extract and simple spray-drying is carried out without using a specific apparatus. The solvent is preferably an organic solvent or a mixture of an organic solvent and water, more preferably 10-95 wt.% of an aqueous solution of ethanol. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
