PRINTING USING MULTIPLE COLOR INKS INCLUDING WHITE INK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate approximating a color of a white image to a target color when performing printing color images and the white image. SOLUTION: A printing device includes: a head having a first nozzle group which jets inks for forming color images and a second nozzle group which jets a white ink and at least one color ink other than the white ink for forming a color-toning white image; a control unit which controls the head to form the color images and the color-toning white image on a printing medium; a designation information acquisition unit for acquiring a designation of one of a plurality of specific white inks as a target of a color for the color-toning white image; an image data acquisition unit for acquiring white image data indicating a gray scale value of the white image; and a memory for storing information, preset for the plurality of specific white inks, indicating a correspondence relationship between the gray scale value of the white image and a gray scale value for each ink color. The control unit converts the white image data into gray scale value data for each ink color based on the correspondence relationship information of the designated specific white ink and uses the gray scale value data for each ink color to form the color-toning white image.
