IMAGE DISPLAY APPARATUS AND IMAGE DISPLAY METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate identifying image data that meets the user's intention, even when a huge number of pieces of image data are stored in a storage medium. SOLUTION: When a digital camera which functions as an image display apparatus is set to a reproduction mode, and when an instruction to display thumbnails is given to the digital camera, a thumbnail display screen 90 is displayed. The thumbnail display screen 90 includes a thumbnail display section 91 for displaying thumbnails of still image files and an importance degree setting section 92 for setting the importance for individual keyword information. When operating members 95 provided in the importance degree setting section are operated and the importance is set to the keyword information corresponding to the operating members 95, image size of thumbnails 93 changes depending on setting of the importance.
