WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, BASE STATION APPARATUS AND COMMUNICATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication system or the like in which the network codes and error correction codes are regarded as serially concatenated codes and then decoded, whereby the diversity can be obtained by use of a simple structure and further in which since there is no restriction on the error correction coding method, the system designs are made flexible. SOLUTION: The wireless communication system includes: a plurality of mobile station apparatuses each of which transmits code bits obtained by error-correction-coding information bits; a relay station apparatus for receiving the code bits from the plurality of mobile station apparatuses and transmitting network code bits obtained by network-coding the received code bits; and a base station apparatus for receiving and decoding the code bits and the network code bits. In decoding the received code bits, the base station apparatus regards the received code bits as code bits obtained by a coding that is a serial concatenation of error correction coding and network coding, thereby repetitively decoding the received code bits.
