NUCLEAR POWER PLANT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nuclear power plant capable of further improving the earthquake resistance of a reactor pressure vessel. SOLUTION: In a nuclear power plant with a boiling water reactor, a well seal device 19 which seals the space between a reactor pressure vessel 2 and a reactor containment vessel has a bulkhead plate 20 and bellows 24. An annular upper plate 21 of the bulkhead plate 20 is joined to a cylindrical member 9 of a top slab 8. Each rib 23 is joined to the undersurface of the upper plate 21. The inside edge of the annular bellows 24 meandering horizontally is mounted on the outside face of a body 3 of the reactor pressure vessel 2 and the outside edge of the bellows 24 is joined to the upper plate 21. A plurality of stabilizers 25 are laid out radially at regular intervals in the circumference of the reactor pressure vessel 2 and are placed below the well seal device 19. One end of each of the stabilizers 25 is mounted on the outside face of the body 3 of the reactor pressure vessel 2 and the rib 23 is inserted into a groove formed at the other end of each of the stabilizers 25.
