Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ice thermal storage unit using up heat storage before completion of a time zone requiring heat radiation from a heat storage tank and preventing deterioration of air conditioning load correspondence. SOLUTION: An ice thermal storage unit includes: a heat source machine 1 for cooling brine by exchanging heat with air; a heat storage tank 15 for storing heat therein by the brine cooled by the heat source machine 1; a brine circuit A having a brine pump 12, control valves 8, 9, 10, 11 and temperature sensors 2, 3, 4, 5, 6; and a cold water circuit B which has temperature sensors 26, 27 and to which cooling load is connected. Heat exchange is performed between the brine circuit A and the cold water circuit B via a brine-water heat exchanger 25. Based on a water level of the heat storage tank 15 before start of air conditioning operation or during the air conditioning operation, heat storage amount within the heat storage tank 15 is calculated, and maximum heat radiation amount which can be taken out of the heat storage amount in accordance with time for radiating heat is set, to control the heat radiation amount during the air conditioning.
