SOLUTION: Temperatures of areas of blocks put in a room temperature environment are measured at measurement points 20, 30 and 40 of the respective blocks in controlling a temperature of hydrostatic oil supplied to hydrostatic sliding surfaces 9, 10 and 11 provided on the blocks such as a main bed 2, a sub bed 3 and a column 4, and the control takes place based on the temperatures.
