Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a side lobe and simplify constitution and control when two-dimensionally scanning ultrasonic beams using a two-dimensional array transducer in a three-dimensional ultrasonograph. SOLUTION: A sub array pattern set on the two-dimensional array transducer 16 has four sub array groups A-D. Each sub array group A-D includes a plurality of X-directional connection bodies (vertically-long pairs) Px and a plurality of Y-directional connection bodies (laterally-long pairs) Py and those are closely and mixedly formed. Each X-directional connection body Px consists of a plurality of vertically-long sub arrays aligned in the X direction, while each Y-directional connection body Py consists of a plurality of laterally-long sub arrays aligned in the Y direction. Each sub array has a rectangular shape and the plurality of sub arrays with the same shape are aligned to constitute a square connection body, thereby attaining the diversity and closeness on the sub array pattern.
