Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To equalize surface temperature of a roller and to freely obtain heating distribution on the surface of the roller when a single phase power source is set as a power source of an induction heating mechanism and a plurality of induction coils are excited. SOLUTION: The plurality of induction coils are arranged in parallel along an axis of the roller. The induction coils are divided into a central group located at a central section along the axis of the roller, and an end group located on both sides of the central group and leading out an intermediate tap from the induction coil. The induction coils belonged to respective groups are connected with a common single phase power source via a voltage regulator by collectively separating each other. Respective temperature detectors for detecting peripheral wall temperature of the roller faced to the induction coils belonged to respective groups are arranged on a peripheral wall of the roller. The voltage regulator is controlled so as to make the peripheral wall temperature of the roller set at a desired width and a designated distribution state in response to the peripheral wall temperature of the roller detected by respective temperature detectors.
