Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a test scenario for GUI-based software which is described in a GUI-independent command system to accommodate GUI differences. SOLUTION: A test support method for causing a computer to run a test of software using a graphical user interface (hereinafter, abbreviated to GUI) includes the steps of: changing a specified scenario in a common format with an added command to detect a specified state of a graphical user interface into commands in a format corresponding to the graphical user interface; determining whether the state of the graphical user interface is the specified state; and executing the commands if the determination is that the graphical user interface is in the specified state.
