DRIVING UNIT, IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS USING DRIVING UNIT, METHOD FOR ASSEMBLING DRIVING UNIT AND ASSEMBLING TOOL FOR DRIVING UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving unit that compatibly achieves optimization of the driving unit and easiness of assembly work when using the driving unit in common regardless of a driving system, and also achieves reduction of costs, and also to provide an image forming apparatus using the driving unit, a method for assembling the driving unit, and an assembling tool for the driving unit. SOLUTION: The driving unit 20 includes first and second timing belts 25b1 and 25b2 transmitting motive power to rotate a coupling 21, and a driving frame 26 provided with the coupling 21 and the first and second timing belts 25b1 and 25b2, and is attached by using a belt holding member 31 holding the first timing belt 25b1. The driving unit 20 includes a through-hole 27 in which the belt holding member 31 is inserted from the opposite side of a side on which the first timing belt 25b1 is arranged in the position where it is opposed to the first timing belt 25b1 of the driving frame 26.
