METHOD OF USING DRYING CYLINDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of using a drying cylinder capable of increasing a flow of heat passing through an external cover layer as in conventional drying equipment having the drying cylinder for solving a problem that, since a drying speed of the drying cylinder is limited so that a comparatively large space amount is necessary in the drying equipment, and in this case, the drying speed is substantially limited by a thickness of a cover of the drying cylinder, that is, heat resistance, on the other hand, since a length of several meters and a diameter over one meter are necessary to secure sufficient safety, a comparatively thick cylinder shell is used. SOLUTION: At least one water absorbing belt 2 is wound around the drying cylinder 4 with a fiber web 1, the fiber web 1 is kept into contact with the drying cylinder 4, and a belt 3 of high density disposed at an outer side is cooled.
