SUCTION AIR AMOUNT MEASURING METHOD AND SUCTION AIR AMOUNT MEASURING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for measuring suction air amount free from influence of the initial variation of an MAF sensor and the duct shape and capable of correcting the amount of changing with time. SOLUTION: The engine condition in which the suction air amount is stabilized is set as the learn executing condition previously, and when it is the engine condition where the learn executing condition is established, learning is made for the relation between the theoretical air amount presumed from the engine condition and the measured air amount based on the reading of the MAF sensor, and thereafter the measured air amount based on the reading of the MAF sensor is corrected on the basis of the relation and used as the suction air amount.
