MOBILE TYPE OVERTOPPING PREVENTION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile type overtopping prevention device having a simple configuration and capable of being easily installed or removed in a short time and increasing height for water cut-off by utilizing hydraulic power when water level of river rises above normal to fulfill its overtopping prevention function effectively. SOLUTION: This mobile type overtopping prevention device 1 for preventing overtopping due to rise of water level of river is constituted of a box-like embankment unit 4 to be installed on an embankment. This embankment unit 4 has: a fixed part 6 having a lower wall 8, a rear wall 9, and two side walls 10, 10 integrally and being fixed on the embankment; and a movable part 7 having a front wall 13 and an upper wall 14 integrally and being turnably mounted on the side walls 10, 10. The assembled embankment unit 4 is carried onto the embankment and is installed like a box by use of the fixed part 6 and the movable part 7. When water level of river rises, the movable part 7 is upward turned due to hydraulic pressure of river and the front wall 13 rises to cut off water. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
